Besides, most ground beef you buy has all the yucky stuff in it anyway...

yucky? I buy from the butcher and I choose the piece of meat he grounds so I don't see what yucky stuff lol...

I said "most". And well, I don't know how it works in other places, but we don't have butcher shops here, so the ground beef people buy you buy at the supermarket... Which means it's already ground and you have no way of knowing what's in it. (I don't know what all of that stuff is called, but you know, the stuff that's not really meat... You know, strings and stuff.)
And meat is always yucky as it is

ohhh, I love going to the market to buy the meat and poultry, much nicer and fresh than the supermarket once.

lol I know,but is still fresh meat, the same I bought so it doesn't matter. At least is not chicken. I remember when I lived in the UK and I went meat shopping, they sold poultry and beef in the same shop, so when I asked for minced chicken or turkey they used the same machine as from the beed and they didn't clean it. Yuck.

I think they clean it at the end of the day(at least I hope they do) industrial machines are not as quick and easy to clean as domestic ones.
